This was a conceptual project in taking a particular product and creating a mobile app for fans, as if it were from the official brand.
Note: Upon completion, project was submitted to Bitmaker (acquired by General Assembly).
As a HUGE fan of the Sims franchise, I chose to design an app specifically for the fans. Through personal experience and research, I know that Sims fans are passionate, active, and integral in shaping their relationship with the franchse, both in and out of game. Countless resources and websites have been made to house fan-created mods, stories, and discussions.
What if we could centralize all the major Sims fan activites into one place?
Since the app was supposed to be conceptualized as if it were released by the official brand, I mimicked the official Sims branding by referencing the fourth games' visual design styles, such as fonts, colours, and other assets.
Main Pages
I wanted to tackle the four biggest branches of fan interaction and references outside of the game:
Praline Mineral Skin by Pralinesims, Hibiscus Lip Color by screaming_mustard.
Home Page: Users can stay up to date on the latest in Sims game and community news from EA
Mods Page: Users can browse and save game modifications to their EA account to access and download in game
Community Page: Users can access and participate in community discussion boards.
Info Page: Formatted similar to a wiki, users can access all game information including walkthroughs, easter eggs, cheat codes, and more.
Additional Functions
Account Page: Users can manage app settings and their EA account.

Tour
Given the app is robust, I thought it would be best to provide a quick guide that was in line with how the Sims guides players through the game.
